Larson in a book called <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>&#8220;Your Forces and How to Use Them&#8221;<\/em>. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I hope it gives you a lift and makes you more optimistic!<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">THE OPTIMSIT&#8217;S CREED<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Promise Yourself:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person you meet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To make all your friends feel that thesis something in them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To think only of the best, to work only for the best and to expect only the best.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are are about your own.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticise others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To think well of yourself and to proclaim this fact to the world, not in loud words, but in great deeds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To live in the faith that the whole world is on your side so long as you are true to the best that is in you.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&#8212;<\/p>\n<p>One hundred years on, and every word rings true. \u00a0How timeless the messages are. \u00a0In these times of so much pessimism, it makes you think how important it is to be an optimist! \u00a0Oh &#8211; and May the Force be with You!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As an eternal optimist, I came across this rather splendid creed which was originally published in 1912 by Christian D.
