As an eternal optimist, I came across this rather splendid creed which was originally published in 1912 by Christian D. Larson in a book called “Your Forces and How to Use Them”<\/em>. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I hope it gives you a lift and makes you more optimistic!<\/span><\/p>\n

THE OPTIMSIT’S CREED<\/span><\/h3>\n

Promise Yourself:<\/span><\/p>\n

To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.<\/span><\/p>\n

To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person you meet.<\/span><\/p>\n

To make all your friends feel that thesis something in them.<\/span><\/p>\n

To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.<\/span><\/p>\n

To think only of the best, to work only for the best and to expect only the best.<\/span><\/p>\n

To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are are about your own.<\/span><\/p>\n

To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.<\/span><\/p>\n

To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile.<\/span><\/p>\n

To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticise others.<\/span><\/p>\n

To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.<\/span><\/p>\n

To think well of yourself and to proclaim this fact to the world, not in loud words, but in great deeds.<\/span><\/p>\n

To live in the faith that the whole world is on your side so long as you are true to the best that is in you.<\/span><\/p>\n
