{"id":83,"date":"2010-07-09T19:08:26","date_gmt":"2010-07-09T18:08:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lornemitchell.com\/blog\/?p=83"},"modified":"2010-07-09T19:11:29","modified_gmt":"2010-07-09T18:11:29","slug":"e-comes-before-f","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.lornemitchell.com\/?p=83","title":{"rendered":"E comes before F"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Just as Ethernet comes before Fibre in the alphabet, I can&#8217;t help but think that rather than debate the merits of FTTH, FTTC, FTTX etc. we should be debating about:<\/p>\n<p>Ethernet to the Home<br \/>\nEthernet to the Small Business Park<br \/>\nEthernet to the School<br \/>\nEthernet to the Pub<br \/>\nEthernet to the Fridge<br \/>\netc.<\/p>\n<p>If we put more emphasis on providing Ethernet to the Community&#8230;.or ETTC and let the Fibre follow the demand for Ethernet services, then that would be a much easier model to rally around.
