\nWho is it knocking at my door?\u201d<\/p>\n

THE NEW YEAR:
\n\u201cI am Good Cheer.\u201d<\/p>\n

MORTAL:
\n\u201cYour voice is strange; I know you not; in shadows dark, I grope.
\nWhat seek you here?\u201d<\/p>\n

THE NEW YEAR:
\n\u201cFriend, let me in; my name is Hope.\u201d<\/p>\n

MORTAL:
\n\u201cAnd mine is Failure; you but mock the life you seek to bless. Pass on.\u201d<\/p>\n

THE NEW YEAR:
\n\u201cNay, open wide the door; I am Success.\u201d<\/p>\n

MORTAL:
\n\u201cBut I am ill and spent with pain; too late has come your wealth. I cannot use it.\u201d<\/p>\n

THE NEW YEAR:
\n\u201cListen, friend; I am Good Health.\u201d<\/p>\n
